Our Dental Services
ImmediaDent offers a comprehensive range of dental services at all of our locations across Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky. Our team of licensed dentists and dental hygienists provides everything from routine preventive care to complex restorative procedures, all performed in-house. This means you can get the treatment you need without being referred to another office.
We believe in transparent, patient-centered care. Before any procedure, our team will explain your diagnosis, discuss your treatment options, and provide a clear estimate of costs. We never perform unnecessary procedures and always prioritize the most conservative approach that will effectively address your dental needs.
Dental Exams and X-Rays
A thorough dental examination is the foundation of good oral health. During your exam, our dentist will visually inspect your teeth, gums, and oral tissues for signs of decay, gum disease, oral cancer, and other conditions. Digital X-rays may be taken to reveal problems that are not visible to the naked eye, such as cavities between teeth, bone loss, or impacted teeth. Digital X-rays produce significantly less radiation than traditional film X-rays and provide instant, high-resolution images.
Professional Teeth Cleaning
Regular professional cleanings are essential for maintaining healthy teeth and gums. During a cleaning, our dental hygienist will remove plaque and tartar buildup that regular brushing and flossing cannot eliminate. The teeth are then polished to remove surface stains and create a smooth surface that resists future plaque accumulation. We recommend professional cleanings every six months, though patients with gum disease may benefit from more frequent visits.
Fillings
When a cavity is detected, a filling restores the tooth to its normal shape and function. ImmediaDent uses tooth-colored composite resin fillings that blend naturally with your existing teeth. The decayed portion of the tooth is removed, the area is cleaned, and the composite material is applied in layers, hardened with a special light, and shaped to match your bite. The result is a durable, aesthetically pleasing restoration.
Dental Crowns
A dental crown is a cap that covers a damaged or weakened tooth, restoring its shape, size, strength, and appearance. Crowns are recommended for teeth that are too damaged for a filling, have undergone root canal treatment, or are cracked or fractured. Our offices offer both porcelain and metal crowns depending on the location of the tooth and your preferences. The process typically involves two visits: one to prepare the tooth and take impressions, and another to place the permanent crown.
Root Canal Therapy
Root canal treatment is necessary when the pulp inside a tooth becomes infected or inflamed due to deep decay, repeated dental procedures, cracks, or trauma. During the procedure, the infected pulp is removed, the inside of the tooth is cleaned and disinfected, and the space is filled and sealed. A crown is usually placed afterward to protect the treated tooth. Despite its reputation, modern root canal therapy is performed with local anesthesia and is generally no more uncomfortable than having a filling placed.
Tooth Extractions
Sometimes a tooth is too damaged by decay, disease, or trauma to be saved, and extraction is the best course of action. Our dentists perform both simple extractions and surgical extractions, including the removal of impacted wisdom teeth. We use local anesthesia to ensure your comfort throughout the procedure and provide detailed aftercare instructions to promote proper healing.
Emergency Dental Care
Dental emergencies can happen at any time. Whether you are experiencing severe tooth pain, a knocked-out tooth, a broken crown, or swelling from an infection, our walk-in clinics are prepared to provide prompt emergency treatment. We prioritize emergency patients and work to relieve pain and address the underlying issue as quickly as possible. Common emergencies we treat include toothaches, abscesses, broken or chipped teeth, lost fillings, and dental trauma from injuries.
