Emergency Dental Treatment

Dental emergencies happen when you least expect them. Since urgent care centers aren’t staffed with dentists, most dental emergencies can’t be treated in those facilities.

Fortunately, whether you have severe toothache or a broken tooth, you can avoid a costly emergency room visit by coming to see us. We are open from 9 am to 9 pm, seven days a week. We also welcome walk-in patients.

COMMON DENTAL EMERGENCIES

Dental emergencies can be as different as the patients that have them. What may be an urgent issue for one person might not be as time-sensitive to another. The emergencies we’ve treated over the years usually fall into these categories:

  • Severe toothache
  • Broken or cracked tooth
  • Swelling or infection
  • Knocked out tooth

If you suspect or have any of these dental problems, it is best to see a dentist right away to avoid further damage or infection.

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT WHEN I COME IN?

We leave room in our schedules every day for emergency patients. If you come in with a dental emergency, our priority is to take care of you fast. If you’re able to call us prior to your arrival, please do so so. That way, we can prepare to treat your emergency even faster.

Here’s what you can expect from us when you come in for emergency treatment:
1. We will assess the situation and identify your immediate needs
2. We will create a treatment plan to help with the pain immediately
3. We will treat the injury or dental problem

The treatment needs of each patient are unique, so we can’t predict in advance what treatment you might need. Regardless of what treatment is needed, our goal is for you and every patient to be on the path to feeling better after treatment. We also recommend scheduling future hygiene appointments to help maintain your oral health and avoid future dental emergencies.

Next time you need emergency dental treatment, call ahead or come right to your nearest ImmediaDent. We’ll fix you up quickly and effectively.
